PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am interested in expanding my responsibilities beyond my community and assisting populations across the globe. After spending time abroad and engaging with an international audience, I would like to continue to gain exposure to cultures that differ from my own and utilize this collective experience to bring positive change to any community I encounter. Before entering the legal profession, I enjoyed a fourteen-year career as an administrator and educator in the field of outdoor education, for which I was awarded California’s Outdoor Educator of the Year in 2010. My experience working in education has bestowed in me the desire to utilize education as a tool to make a positive change.
